Heaton Park Cafés
Nestled at opposite sides of Heaton Park are our two cafés, The Stables and The Lakeside Pavilion. Serving fresh made-to-order hot food, barista-crafted hot drinks amongst other sweet treats like our ever expanding range of homemade traybakes and thirst-quenching cold drinks.

The Stables Café
Built in 1777, the grade II listed and once operational stable block is located at the top end of Heaton Park with close proximity to The Animal Centre and Heaton Park Hall. 

Newly renovated in 2025, the decor celebrates the inhabitants that call Heaton Park home, with a colour scheme inspired by the Peacocks that roam nearby and a gallery wall featuring
customer-submitted photos that admire our proximity to the animal centre. 

The Lakeside Pavilion
Built around 1904, the building was erected to accommodate visitors waiting for trams back to Manchester City Centre when the line was extended into Heaton Park in 1903.

Located at the bottom of the park, The Lakeside Pavilion now caters for visitors who like to spend time by the play area/playground and Heaton Park Lake, which is home to Heaton Park Boats.
